Master in Physical and Analytical Chemistry: Atmosphere, Clouds & Climate ScienceS (ACCESS).
A 2-year international program (120 ECTS) combining chemistry and physics of the atmosphere, focused on:
- Greenhouse gases & air quality
- Aerosols, clouds, and remote sensing
- In-situ analytical measurement and remote sensing
- Optical & molecular spectroscopy
- Atmospheric modelling
- Observations from local to global scale
The international Master ACCESS is supported by the Cross Disciplinary Program (CDP) named Aerosol at the heaRt of the Earth Atmosphere (AREA) project project which involves research laboratories and partner teams with strong scientific qualifications in atmospheric sciences. The CDP conducts high-level research activities thanks to the complementarity of the disciplines of its researchers (optical physics, atomic and molecular physics, analytical chemistry, physical chemistry, atmospheric modeling) on research related to global climate change.
Training is dedicated to students in physics and/or chemistry wishing to follow a specialization in atmospheric sciences to get a strong background in theory and practical work.
Strengths of the training
Students are immersed in an international environment and all courses are taught in English.
A master degree in a stimulating scientific environment within the Graduate Program
